Halime Can

Halime Can  is one of the two founding partner of Bora Ship Chartering Services Co. Ltd.

She has started at Lyonel A. Makzume Chartering (chartering division of a very old agency/line company) as post fixture, while still attending university.

After graduating from university, she was transferred to Bora Shipping Co. In 1988, became a partner within a year, and stayed there until buying out their partners’ share in Chartering company and established Bora Ship Chartering Services Co. Ltd. with Korhan Ekemen, in 2006.

She has been in chartering business over 35 years by now.
